As for us pilgrims… 1 sleep to go. We will be meeting tomorrow at the Darwin International Airport at 3:30pm to check in. Last minute packing happening right now!! Hopefully no one forgets their passport.
One of our pilgrims (Zena) wrote this prayer for the intercessions of our Commissioning Mass yesterday: ‘We pray for the Diocesan pilgrims going to WYD Rio this month: that collectively we may be an example of God’s peace, love and joy through our words and actions in all who we meet along the pilgrimage journey. May God keep all WYD pilgrims coming from all corners of the world safe and help us to keep our faith alive in Rio and beyond’.
